How Our Blog Started:
I had been thinking of doing something to get my self more involved in the book community, but wasn’t sure what to do. I kept it at the back of my mind until MLC told me about Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout (all those Obsidian lovers will understand). I decided to give it a try. The main character in that book was a blogger and after I finished that book I talked to MLC and she said that she had also liked the idea of starting a blog, so we gave it a try. Now, you have to know that me and MLC know absolutely nothing about computers[MLC even less than me(no offense)], but I went online and found wordpress and thought it would be great since its free and if it works out we could go for a better plan if we need too. If you saw what our blog looked like before then you would know that we weren’t the best at computers and still aren’t great at it, but we still managed to make our blog and are so happy about it! So it was basically Jennifer L. Armentrout who got us into blogging!
1.) Be patient! You aren’t going to all of a sudden have tons or followers and lets be real, you aren’t going to be the best at blogging when you first start out so it might take a while! It also might take a while for you to actually get the hang of running the blog so you have to take your time and just have fun.
2.) Make Friends! If you just post and don’t communicate with people there is no way anyone is going to know to follow you or be able to put in a good word. Also, it really helps to have friends who are going through or have went through the same things you have because when you first start your blog it isn’t easy. Take it from us. We actually started our blog like a year ago and are just now making friends and actually succeeding at blogging, that is because we are making friends and they are helping us even if they don’t know it.
